Custom officers seize fake credit card holograms - ktuu.com - 15 May 2009

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Customs officers seized more than 30,000 counterfeit credit card holograms.

The holograms are used as a security feature on most credit cards and were stashed inside a computer tower shipped from Hong Kong.

The package also contained more than 10,000 fake seals for the Alberta Department of Motor Vehicles.

Customs officials say counterfeit credit cards and drivers licenses are used in bank theft, identity theft and criminal impersonation.
