Three charged in credit card factory bust - bclocalnews.com - 06 Feb 09

A mid-level credit card factory was busted and three people known to police were arrested at a rental home in the 7200 block of 208 Street on Tuesday.

Surrey RCMP’s identity theft fraud team made the arrests, swooping down on the large property and seizing everything from loaded shotguns to hundreds of stolen or fake credit cards.

“They found a milk crate full of forged and stolen ID,” said Surrey RCMP’s spokesperson Const. Roger Morrow.

Police also seized an ID embossing machine, high quality scanners, 15 computers, lost ID, counterfeit $100s and other items.

Kelly Dumas, 33, of Surrey, Robin Krayem, 38, of Langley and August Elizabeth Olafson, 31, of no fixed address are facing a variety of charges relating to credit card forgery, possession of stolen property and firearms.

Police plan to release some pictures to the public about this investigation. It isn’t know yet where the ID and credit card information was stolen from.

The investigation has been underway fior the past six weeks.

Numerous police afficers attended the scene on Tuesday to arrest the trio and gather all the stolen material and other evidence.

Police also apparently found crossbows in the home/card factory.
